Hi! We’re David and Rachel.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We hope you will consider whether we are the right parents for your precious baby.
We’re married Florida natives who love our community and never pass up a good adventure. We have a supportive network of family and friends who keep us equal parts fun and grounded, even when life gets crazy. After seven years of marriage and more than ten years together, we’re ready to expand our family and share our home with a little one.
Life is so good already, but we know it will only get better when our family grows. Adoption has been our hope and dream from day one, so we are truly thrilled to be starting this journey. No matter what your decision is, you have our deepest gratitude and respect.

Our Home and Family
We love our home and neighborhood. We bought our first (current) home in 2017 as a new build. It’s in a highly rated school district and our neighborhood has lots of young families and play spaces.
We have a small but tight knit family. Both sets of parents live just a few hours away, and Rachel’s sister is a big part of her life.
Because we were raised in different faiths, we have double the holiday fun! We spend Christmas with Rachel’s family and Passover with David’s. Thanksgiving is our favorite because everyone gathers at our house for BBQ and relaxation.
Our extended family of close friends are incredibly supportive of our adoption journey. They’re excited to one day be honorary uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Fun Facts About Us
- We are travel junkies! Over the last few years we’ve traveled to amazing international destinations (Canada, Israel, Spain) and many beautiful state-side locations. We also take an annual trip to NYC!
- As self-proclaimed foodies, we enjoy trying unique foods at local restaurants, farmer’s markets, and food truck rallies. Rachel likes coffee products and David prefers traditional comfort foods.
- We appreciate the arts. David is a life-long musician and loves concerts, whether it’s a local band or a big-time act. Rachel is a history buff and art connoisseur who enjoys roaming museum hallways and reading all the plaques.
In Closing
It is very important to us that your child knows and loves their adoption story.
We are fully committed to promoting the individuality and identity of your little one by providing a safe and supportive home environment. We will encourage openness about adoption, and any other topic, at all stages of the child’s life to make sure they feel they can talk about their questions or feelings.
We can’t pretend to know what this process is like for you, but we are excited about the opportunity to get to know you and learn your hopes for your baby. We are open to any level of contact, and would love to discuss your ideas about our future relationship. Please know that you will always be honored and cherished in our home.
With gratitude,
-Rachel & David
