Hello! We are Laura and Corey from Alachua, Florida.
Thank you for considering us as your adoptive parents. Before we even married we talked about our desire to adopt. After having our daughter, Ryleigh (4), and struggling to have another biological child, we knew the time was right to consider adoption.
We are all very excited at the prospect of welcoming a new member to our family. Our hope is that we can give you peace of mind knowing that your child is going to a home filled with love, laughs, and a lifetime of joy.
Thank you for taking the time to view our profile. We hope and pray for you to find an adoptive family that feels right for you, and wish you all the best.
About Us
We met at Flagler College where we were both majoring in education.
We dated for a little over a year before Corey proposed. We were married in 2008. Corey decided to leave education and pursue a career in Software development. Laura has stayed in education and has taught grades K-8. She is currently a reading teacher to elementary students. We are both interested in reading and often recommend books that the other should read. We also enjoy going to Universal Studios together for couple time. As a family we like to go the museum and explore nature. Every year, we try to go on a family vacation to someplace new. This past year we went to Virginia and Ryleigh got to experience her first cave. Ryleigh loves exploring, going to gymnastics, and anything to do with Frozen.

Our Home and Family
We love traveling and visiting family.
Laura’s parents live in Peachtree Corners, GA, and Corey’s parents live in Melbourne, FL. Both are only a few hours’ drive away, and we typically visit multiple times a year, especially around the holidays.
During the summer we’ve started taking weeklong vacations with just our household to see new places. This year we visited a cabin in Virginia, and toured some caverns. Next year we’re considering the mountains again.
When we’re not traveling we enjoy visiting the local museum, exploring nature trails, and staying home and playing board games. Friday’s are our pizza and movie night where we make a homemade pizza and watch a family movie together.
Our week wraps up with church on Sunday, and afterward, we usually go grocery shopping together before heading home and relaxing for the rest of the day.

In Closing
Thank you so much for considering us as you work through this difficult time.
We sincerely wish you the best and hope you find a wonderful loving home for your child.
We understand that you may choose an open adoption, a closed one, or somewhere in between. Please know that whatever you choose, your child will know their adoption story, and that it is with endless love that you made an adoption plan. We are supportive of your choice, and will work together with you to create a plan that feels best for you, your family and your child. We will happily exchange photos and letters, and hope to stay connected through visits, telephone calls, and emails.
