Dear Expectant Parents,
Welcome & thank you for considering us. We greatly admire you for so selflessly & lovingly considering making an adoption plan. We can’t wait to get to know you. We’d love to find out what you see for yourself & the role you’d like to have in your child’s life, and we’ll do our best to tell you about ourselves here.
We are Katie & JP, and our 4-year-old son, Winston, and we live in Jacksonville, Florida. We are no longer able to have biological children and we are so grateful & excited to have the chance to expand our family through adoption. We want to do everything we can to assure you that we are committed to loving & embracing you and your child. Our family philosophy focuses on the nurturing & well-being of our children, ensuring that they are able to grow into confident, imaginative, happy & kind people. We believe we’ve created a wonderful atmosphere and fulfilling lifestyle that any child would thrive in, and we would be honored to have your child join our family.
About Us
We met in 2004 at our residential high school in Arkansas and got married in 2012. We lived in Salt Lake City, Utah, nestled amongst the mountains for the past eight years, during which time we welcomed our son. In 2020, we took a big leap & moved to Jacksonville, Florida, and we’ve fallen in love with our new surroundings. JP has always been into sports, literature, and video games and has a passion for learning and research. He is very intelligent and caring and his greatest joy in life is being a dad. Katie can be described as goofy, creative, and caring. When the family welcomes their new baby, Katie is looking forward to being a stay-at-home mama and pursuing volunteer opportunities. Our son Winston is an independent & thoughtful little boy who is full of energy and loves to play, play, play! He is so looking forward to teaching his new brother or sister all about superheroes & Legos & more. We know Winston will be the best big brother! Our family loves anything to do with fandoms, theme parks, traveling, and food! We love running, sports, and spending time with family and friends.

Our Home & Community
Our home is in a cul-de-sac in a tight-knit, diverse neighborhood where the families regularly interact with each other. We love to gather at the neighborhood playground on Friday evenings and sample the food trucks while the kids play. Our neighborhood is the go to place for holiday happenings with Santa coming to see the kids at Christmastime and plenty of other activities. We love to celebrate the holidays, making sure the house is decorated and festive, and our favorite holiday traditions include baking together, watching holiday movies, and themed family costumes for Halloween. At home, we have two Great Danes, Apollo & Athena, and two cats, Ginny & Albus, who are all big cuddlers and love children. Our extended families mostly live in Arkansas, and they are all so excited to welcome a new baby to our family! We visit each other regularly and expect many beach and Disney trips with them in the future.

Our Closing Thoughts
We have so much love to share and are so excited to welcome a new baby into our loving home. At the same time, we can’t begin to understand how difficult this decision may be for you and want you to know that we will always love and hold dear your child no matter what. We will make sure they are proud of who they are, where they came from, and are an integral part of our family. As adoptive parents, we aren’t only building a relationship with your child, but their history, culture, and you, the expectant mother. We would love to be able to provide an open and loving relationship with you as well and ensure you are as involved as you would like to be. We are so grateful for being considered in this process–thank you.
