Dear Expectant Parents

Hi, we are Chris and Grace and we want to thank you for taking the time to get to know us. We admire your courage to step out and seek a future for your child. We look to honor and respect you in this process. Our hope is that these pages give a glimpse of our life together, and that you can see the love we have for each other, and the love we have to give. We have always wanted to have children. Choosing us to be adoptive parents would change our lives forever. We are so excited to be adopting and bringing a child into our family! Our prayer is that you find peace and confidence in the decision you are making for you & your child.

About Us

We met and fell in love while living and working in Haiti. Life while in the Caribbean gave us a love for travel and adventure, while also a respect for simplicity. We lived the first 6 years of our marriage in Haiti before moving back to the U.S. to be closer to family, and begin the adoption process. We are both REALLY tall- Chris is 6’5 and Grace is 6’2! You can find us most weekends biking through our downtown neighborhood, heading to the beach for sun and surf, gardening in our yard, or doing home projects. We both love to read, eat delicious food, watch good movies, and listen to music- especially if it is live music!

5 fun weekend activities at our house!

  1. Gardening: we grow lots of fruits, vegetables, and flowers in our yard. Picking produce, growing plants from seeds, and sharing with our neighbors is a fun weekend activity.
  2. Walking our pups: we have two dogs, and they keep us active. Morning walks are a daily activity in our house, and we love our neighborhood!
  3. Beach: we are 15 minutes from one of the best beaches in Georgia. We love to get out and enjoy sand and sun!
  4. Biking: we live in a small downtown neighborhood, and we love hopping on our bikes to head to the park or to a nearby brewery. During Christmas, it is especially magical- lots of sparkly lights and music.
  5. Grilling: Chris is an expert with the charcoal grill. Whether it is burgers, vegetables, or chicken, grilling in our yard is a way to eat good food and hang out with friends and family.

In Closing

We have always dreamed about being parents and having children to raise. We are very excited to be adopting and have so much love to give. We want to share our life of travel and adventure, plus couch snuggle and dog walks, with a child. Please always know we will unconditionally love and cherish your child.
