Dear Birth Parents,
Thank you for considering us as adoptive parents for your child. We know this is not an easy decision for you, and we pray that you feel supported no matter what you decide.
Our daughter, Amara, has brought an amazing amount of joy into our lives and we are so excited to adopt again. We know she will be a wonderful sister and we have more than enough love to share! If you choose us, we promise to love your child unconditionally. We promise to stay connected to you and to share the love you have for your child. Thank you for taking time to learn more about us.
About Us
We met four years ago through Ann’s cousin who is one of Tony’s best friends from college. When he finally connected us, we both fell in love immediately. We were married nine months after meeting and we fall in love more every day. Little did we know how much better life would get when we adopted our daughter, Amara! We are so grateful to be mom and dad to Amara and to include her birth family as part of our family.
Ann was a kindergarten and first grade teacher, but is now a very happy stay at home mom. Tony works as a chaplain to athletics at a university. Tony loves his job, but family is his priority which means we have a lot of good family time. We love to have a dance party in the family room, play in the neighborhood park, or have a family dinner on our patio.

Our Home and Family
We live in Washington, DC. We love living here because of the diversity of the people and the interesting things to do. We feel lucky that we can walk from our house and either go for a hike in woods or visit some of the historic sights in DC. We love that we meet all kinds of interesting people from all over the world. There is always something new to do or something new to learn in DC! It is a great place to raise a child.
Ann’s family also lives in Washington, DC. Amara loves swimming in her cousin’s pool or playing with her cousins in the park. We gather often for family dinners. Amara especially loves playing with her cousin, Diego, who is four. Tony’s family lives in Indiana. We visit them as often as we can and do lots of FaceTime calls in between. Both of our families are very excited to welcome another child into our family!
Our Values
We hope to teach our children these two values to live by:
- Know you are loved
- Love others
These two things sound so simple and yet they can change the world. As parents, we want our children to know they are loved just as they are. From that love, we hope to teach them to love others.
“Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”
— 1 Corinthians 13: 7

Thank you for taking the time to learn about us. We wish you well!
